White fused alumina is produced by melting aluminum oxide powder at high temperatures, resulting in a white color. It is slightly harder than brown fused alumina but slightly less tough. White fused alumina is characterized by consistent product quality, uniform particle size distribution, low magnetic impurity content, high purity, low sodium content, excellent insulation properties, high hardness, and good toughness. When used in refractory materials, it offers the following characteristics: high purity with low sodium content, high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, and the ability to enhance strength and dimensional stability. Abrasives manufactured from it are suitable for grinding high-carbon steel, high-speed steel, and quenched steel. It can also be used as a grinding and polishing material, as well as for precision casting sand, spray coating materials, chemical catalyst carriers, and special ceramics.
