一、溶胶凝胶法制备的陶瓷微晶磨料的特点:
I. Characteristics of ceramic microcrystalline abrasives prepared by the sol-gel method:
溶胶凝胶法制备的陶瓷微晶磨料属于烧结磨料,晶粒尺寸非常小,只有100---500nm,仅为普通刚玉磨粒晶体尺寸的几百分之一,一颗46#粒度的磨料中含有上亿个晶粒,在磨削时,传统电熔刚玉磨粒在工作面被磨去后扁平钝化,在磨削力的作用下磨粒容易从磨具上脱落,使用寿命短,而溶胶凝胶法制备的陶瓷微晶磨料的整个磨损过程也是磨粒自身的自锐过程,在使用寿命期间,磨粒表面层被磨钝的微小晶粒在磨削力的作用下从磨粒上脱落时,不断暴露出新的锋利的磨削刃,使磨粒始终处于锋利状态。用这种磨料做成的磨具具有寿命长,自锐性好,切削效率高,不易烧伤工件等特点。
Ceramic microcrystalline abrasives prepared by the sol-gel method are classified as sintered abrasives. Their grain size is extremely small, ranging from 100 to 500 nm—only a few hundredths of the crystal size of ordinary corundum abrasive grains. A single abrasive of 46-grit contains hundreds of millions of grains. During grinding, traditional electrofused alumina grains become flattened and dulled after being worn away at the working surface; under the action of grinding forces, the grains are prone to detaching from the abrasive tool, resulting in a short service life. In contrast, the entire wear process of ceramic microcrystalline abrasives prepared via the sol-gel method is essentially a self-sharpening process. Throughout their service life, as the dulled surface layer of the abrasive grains is worn away and the grains detach under the force of grinding, new, sharp cutting edges are continuously exposed, keeping the grains in a consistently sharp state. Abrasive tools made from this type of abrasive feature a long service life, excellent self-sharpening properties, high cutting efficiency, and a low risk of burning the workpiece.

These abrasives fracture along grain boundaries, whereas traditional fused alumina abrasives typically fracture across grain boundaries. The toughness of microcrystalline ceramic abrasives is approximately twice that of traditional fused alumina abrasives.

1、磨粒锋利,切削能力强,磨削效率高。可以进行大切深、大进给、重负荷和高效磨削。据试验,单行程进给量可达0.3mm以上,金属去除率比普通刚玉砂轮高两倍以上。
The abrasive grains are sharp, offering strong cutting performance and high grinding efficiency. This enables deep-cut, high-feed, heavy-duty, and high-efficiency grinding. Tests have shown that the feed rate per pass can reach 0.3 mm or more, with a metal removal rate more than twice that of ordinary alumina grinding wheels.
2、韧性好,磨损小,砂轮形状保持性好。用于精密磨削和成型磨削,容易获得较高的尺寸精度和尺寸形状一致性。
High toughness, low wear, and excellent shape retention of the grinding wheel. Suitable for precision grinding and profile grinding, it facilitates the achievement of high dimensional accuracy and dimensional consistency.
3、砂轮耐用度高,使用寿命长,可达普通刚玉砂轮的5---10倍,更换频率低,减少辅助加工时间和停机时间,有利于使用数控自动机床,实现自动化生产。
The grinding wheels are highly durable and have a long service life, lasting 5 to 10 times longer than standard alumina grinding wheels. They require less frequent replacement, thereby reducing auxiliary processing time and downtime, and are well-suited for use with CNC machine tools to achieve automated production.
4、砂轮自锐性好,不堵塞。可以保持稳定的磨削性能,因为可以减少修正量(为一般刚玉砂轮的1/3左右),可以减少休整次数,提高生产效率。
The grinding wheel has excellent self-sharpening properties and does not clog. It maintains consistent grinding performance because it requires less dressing (approximately one-third of that needed for standard alumina grinding wheels), thereby reducing the frequency of dressing and improving production efficiency.
5、在性能上远远优于普通电熔刚玉砂轮,在价格上远远低于CBN和金刚石磨料,而其硬度与普通刚玉磨料相近,所以不需特殊的磨削设备和修正装置,不存在CBN和金刚石在磨削设备方面的特殊要求及修整方面的困难,对没磨削液也没有太特殊的要求,易于推广使用。
In terms of performance, it far surpasses ordinary electrofused alumina grinding wheels, while its price is significantly lower than that of CBN and diamond abrasives. Since its hardness is comparable to that of ordinary alumina abrasives, it does not require special grinding equipment or dressing devices. Unlike CBN and diamond abrasives, it does not impose special requirements on grinding equipment or present difficulties in dressing, nor does it have any particular requirements for grinding fluids, making it easy to adopt and use.
